Ingredients
- 9 Just Bare Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs
- 1 cup BBQ Sauce
- 1/2 brick of Guava Paste
- 4 tablespoons Mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup Hot Sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 7oz bottle (about 6 ounces) Malta Soda
- Salt and Pepper to season raw chicken
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Sauce
- In a mixing bowl, combine BBQ sauce, guava paste, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and Malta soda. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Step 2: Prepare the Chicken
- Rinse the Just Bare Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season with Salt and Pepper.
- Spray a small amount of cooking spray into the bottom of the slow cooker. Place the chicken thighs evenly in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Step 3: Add the Sauce and Cook
- Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken thighs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook on low for 5 hours or until the internal temperature of the chicken thighs reaches 165°F (75°C) when tested with a meat thermometer.
Step 4: Serve
- Once the chicken is cooked through, remove it from the slow cooker and transfer it to a serving platter.
- Spoon any remaining sauce from the slow cooker over the chicken.
- Serve the slow cooker BBQ chicken hot with your favorite side dishes, such as rice, coleslaw, or roasted vegetables.
