

Tex Mex Chicken Fajitas

Ingredients
- Chicken Ingredients
- 1 yellow onion, sliced thin
- 3 red bell peppers, sliced thin
- 2 tbsp canola/vegetable oil
- Juice from 1 lime
- 1 tsp chopped cilantro
- Fajita Seasoning
- ½ tbsp chili powder
- ½ tbsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp oregano
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 8 flour tortillas
- Sour cream, avocado or salsa to garnish
Instructions
Fajita Seasoning:
- Add the fajitas seasoning ingredients to a small mixing bowl and stir together.
Chicken Preparation:
- Slice the chicken tenders lengthwise thinly
- Season the Just Bare® Chicken Breast Tenders with the fajita seasoning, covering thoroughly.
- Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add seasoned chicken to pan, cook for 3-4 minutes
- Add the bell peppers and onion to the chicken and saute for 4-5 minutes, stirring frequently.
- While chicken and veggies are finishing in the pan, heat up the flour tortillas until they are soft
- Remove pan from heat, add a squeeze of fresh lime juice and cilantro and stir everything together
For Serving:
- Serve immediately with tortillas and extra toppings such as sour cream, pico de gallo and guacamole.
