Ingredients

  • Chicken Ingredients
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced thin
  • 3 red bell peppers, sliced thin
  • 2 tbsp canola/vegetable oil
  • Juice from 1 lime
  • 1 tsp chopped cilantro
  • Fajita Seasoning
    • ½ tbsp chili powder
    • ½ tbsp ground cumin
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • ½ tsp paprika
    • ½ tsp oregano
    • ½ tsp salt
    • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 8 flour tortillas
  • Sour cream, avocado or salsa to garnish

Instructions

Fajita Seasoning:

  1. Add the fajitas seasoning ingredients to a small mixing bowl and stir together.

Chicken Preparation:

  1. Slice the chicken tenders lengthwise thinly
  2. Season the Just Bare® Chicken Breast Tenders with the fajita seasoning, covering thoroughly.
  3. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat. 
  4. Add seasoned chicken to pan, cook for 3-4 minutes
  5. Add the bell peppers and onion to the chicken and saute for 4-5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  6. While chicken and veggies are finishing in the pan, heat up the flour tortillas until they are soft
  7. Remove pan from heat, add a squeeze of fresh lime juice and cilantro and stir everything together

For Serving:

  1. Serve immediately with tortillas and extra toppings such as sour cream, pico de gallo and guacamole.
