Ingredients

  • 3 pounds Just Bare Chicken Wingettes & Drumettes
  • Chicken Marinade:
    • 1/3 cup miso paste
    • 1/3 cup soy sauce
    • 2 tbsp honey
    • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
    • 3 tsp sesame oil
    • Zest of one lemon
    • 3 tsp garlic powder
    • 3 tsp ginger powder
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp pepper
    • 2 tbsp baking powder
    • Scallions and sesame seeds to garnish (garnish)

Instructions

  1. Mix miso paste, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and lemon zest on the stove and whisk to create marinade. Heat for approx. 10 minutes until glazy texture.
  2. Mix dry ingredients including garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, pepper, and baking soda in a bowl and coat the wings in the dry mixture.
  3. Preheat oven to 400 degress and roast the wings on the top rack on a wire rack lined sheet tray.
  4. Roast approx. 30 minutes or until internal temp. reaches 185, ensuring chicken is tender and any redness near the bone is cooked away.
  5. Glaze the wings in the sauce. Add back into oven for 5 additional minutes to crisp glaze on wings.
  6. Garnish with finely cut scallions and sesame seeds to serve!
